My customer is an older gentleman around the age of 50 years old but feels like he's 30! He works on the board of trustees at the local hospital and studied medicine to become a doctor. He drives a white Audi A8 and has three children who have all graduated from college and begun their own lives. He enjoys golfing and having brunch with his family whenever the opportunity arises. He also likes music from the 70's and certain songs from the 80's. His favorite show is Happy Days but you can always catch him watching re-runs of The Brady Bunch. He's wealthier than most and resides in a gated community full of condominiums. He votes Republican but only because he knows Independent candidates with Conservative views don't win elections.
I am similar to my client in the fact that we are both male and enjoy older pop culture. My customer and I are very different in both social and financial perspectives but could possibly form a bond over old tv shows and movies. I don't think it's a coincidence that we are similar because we can't choose our gender and as easily as I could've chosen to like modern pop culture, I chose to like older pop culture while he grew up on it.

Hey Brandon! I really enjoyed reading about your customer avatar. Sounds like a traditional, classy guy. I consider myself a bit classy in my music taste so that is one thing I have in common with him. I stand with you on the bit about choosing the music taste rather than growing up with it. I admire his wealth and prestige, I hope that can be me one day. Great post!
