.) For this assignment I read The Art of Social Media: Powerful Tips for Powerful Users by Guy Kawasaki and Peg Fitzpatrick. The book focused on methods of increasing your presence on social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook.
.) This book connects to the class by presenting situations that can allow you to increase user interaction with your posts. This class' main focus is creating a business plan and getting a good amount of people to buy into your service. Maximizing the amount of people who interact with things that you post could help you successfully increase business.
.) An exercise I would have people perform based off tips in this book would be to create a "shop" account on a social media platform. Whether it be Instagram or Facebook, I'd have everyone create their page and a fake product/service. From there everyone would promote their product based off strategies found in the book.
.) I think it's absolutely crazy how normal people can go from selling a product to their local community to selling it nationwide, or even globally, because they successfully manipulated social media. Some people have even done it so well that they make a living off of it and even co-sign other products for people looking to boost their own sales.

Hey Brandon! I also chose the book "The Art of Social Media: Power Tips for Power Users" by Guy Kawasaki. I really enjoyed reading about all of his different tips on how to create a social media powerhouse of an account too. I agree a lot with your analysis, especially about the part where you talk about designing an exercise for the class. Great post!
