1.) This semester was my first semester as an online student. When I attended community college I did a mix of online and grounded courses so I'm not entirely new to e-learning. I transferred to UF and this was my first experience as a full-time e-student. I honestly thought that online schooling would be easier since I could make my own schedule for going to class and stuff but that's what actually caused me to fail. I work a full time job so too often I found myself putting things off until they were due and not retaining any information from lectures or projects. I even had to drop my Business Statistics course because I had an E.
2.) Failing at managing my time in a more effective manner has allowed me to see how important it is to actually prioritize things. I've learned not to take on so much work at one time but I've also learned to do what's expected of me in a timely fashion.
3.) Failure really sucks to be honest. It made me feel insecure about my own capabilities and made me question what my real potential is. Failure has also shown me that I can better my situation by making small adjustments to the way I approach certain things. This class has shown me that failure is necessary in everything we do. It humbles us when we begin to think too highly of ourselves and reminds us that we're going to mess up. Most people see messing up as something negative but I always try to see the silver lining in it all. I'm glad that this happened to me because it showed me that it's bad to handle too much at once. Going forward I'll make sure to handle what I can without stressing myself out too much.

Hello Brandon! It is good that you were able to identify what was the cause of your failure. Most people would be oblivious to the reason they have a problem and blame something else. Time management is hard when you have a lot of things to do that don't happen with a consistent schedule. Good luck with your future endeavors and I hope you eventually succeed with improving your time management.
